Nice article about a school offering Dance Dance Revolution to kids as a PE option.
But this graf cracked me up:
Many people already use DDR to lose weight and some machines have a workout mode that makes copying the dance moves more like exercise.
Doesn’t that miss the point? DDR is a blast because it doesn’t feel like “exercise”!

I HAVE to start exercising and making it a regular habit. I just HATE exercise. HATE HATE HATE. I’m thinking about maybe taking belly dancing classes or burlesque classes. The last time we went to a strip club (a month ago) I thought to myself, “Say, I’ve seen ads for ‘exotic dance classes’ … that looks fun AND like good exercise. Man, I want that stripper’s abs.” Those 3 activities I think I would consider fun, and they would get me in some form of shape.
