Motherhood is beautiful and moms are sexy. (Mine’s a dead ringer for Sophia Loren!) And yet, this promotion associating MILF porn with Mother’s Day gives me the willies.

Even though I know it’s meant to be funny. Even though I know it’s not really about incest and abuse, but selling porn that, er, celebrates and honors the sensuality of women who have become mothers — the fiercest, gentlest, most awe-inspiring beings on the planet.

On the other hand, I haven’t noticed a huge volume of FILF or even DILF porn, so I can’t compare it with my reaction to connecting porn with Father’s Day.

Or is it a reaction to the thought of honoring my mother by watching her in a porn video? I’m definitely reacting to the marketing engine spinning.

But seriously … why wouldn’t we celebrate the erotic (and pornographic!) nature of motherhood with erotic (and pornographic!) film? I mean maybe not with our OWN mothers … but our female partners who have offspring?
