Improv Everywehere are very very cool indeed. They started the no pants day on the subways which have apparently caught on well and gotten mainstream cover of late. I’ve seen nothing they’ve done that wasn’t genius (though to lesser and greater degrees as with anything) and most of what they do isn’t so much possible to repeat as to redo, which is sort of the point. They must be growing since they have more people to work with these days. Good for them. I’m not close to any of it, but I do think making other peoples days a bit more surreal is a good idea.
